Genshin Impact 2026 Wishlist

 It's been a week but happy new year! I hope this year will be better than before for everyone. 

As you can see in the title, I want to yap about what I want to get in Genshin for this year:D I'm so excited about it and I thought, "why not pouring it all in a post?" So I did!

I'm not expecting to get all of them, it's not realistic since I'm only a welkin player who just started buying very recently after playing for years. But it's fun just to talk about it, that's why I'm doing this. 

So, starting with the characters wishlist:

1. Columbina

It's less than a week from now, but I'm so-so-so excited! I'm so antsy waiting for her release. She was the only character that when the Winter Night Lazzo trailer was released that I instantly knew that I was going to pull for her. 

I love her hairstyle and vibe. And since now we knew what her outfit looks like, I love it even more! I love her lullaby (I'm so obsessed with Somnias a Luna, I hum it every day). What else can be said? 

I've been saving for her since Lauma's banner (only used some saving for Durin), but I still have enough for guarantee Columbina, so she will come home! But I'm hoping for early pity, please:D

2. Nicole

So, when the Nod Krai's trailer dropped, she was one of the characters that I clocked in right away (including Columbina and Alice). I love her design, and she will be the first Hexenzirkel member to be playable since she is guaranteed to be playable this Nod Krai patch. And from the Luna IV's trailer, she is shown with wings and it's really gorgeous! 

3. Zibai

I knew of her existence since I'm a lore player, but I was surprised when I got the news that she is going to be playable. Her design is beautiful, but I love her playstyle, with all the horses. And I've been wanting to get a Lunar DPS since I skipped Flins and Nefer and Zibai is coming with Lunar Crystalize, so it's great for me. The only not great thing is the fact that she is coming with Columbina and Ineffa in the first half. My primo can't handle this;) I'm hoping to get super lucky in the next patch. 

4. Ineffa

When she was released, I was not too interested. Robot character is never my thing and her design is not my preference, so I skipped her, especially Nod Krai would be released soon after. 

But after experiencing Nod Krai's archon quest, seeing her wholesome interaction with Aino, and the idea of having an Electro shielder, I'm starting to warm up to her. And I would love to have, at least one, character that can trigger Lunar reaction. And between Flins and Ineffa, I like Ineffa better. Sub DPS is more flexible in team building and I would love to run Ineffa with my Neuvilette and Clorinde. 

It's just... Why should she have a rerun with Columbina and Zibai?TT I'm so conflicted in whether should I pull Ineffa or Zibai. If only she was in second half, then at least there would be more chances for me to get her (and more Illuga too). I'm sobbing right here;)

5. Varesa 

I was not interested with her at first, especially since she doesn't use her burst animation in her optimal playstyle. I'm a fan of 5 stars' animation, I love using it. That's why characters like Flins and Varesa don't interest me that much (except for Skirk since I love her design and she is my favorite character's master). 

But the more I used her in some trials, the more I like her playstyle. And her design is also growing on me too. So, I might pull for her in the next rerun. And Iansan and Cheveruse would be in her banner as well most likely, so it would be a great banner to pull. 

6. Chiori

Chiori is a character whose design I really adore. Her hairstyle is so beautiful and her dress is gorgeous. But it's not to the level of Columbina where I absolutely will pull for her no matter what her kit is. I just don't know where to put Chiori in term of team comps. Mono geo is not a thing anymore and Chiori is not really best in slot for any comps even though she can be used there. 

I'm not a big meta player, but I'm not totally ignorant about it. I would love for the character that I pull to have room in my account, especially with Albedo receiving the Hexerei buff so he is very viable now. 

But now, with lunar crystalize's release, Chiori actually has more rooms now, especially in Zibai's team since I'm planning to pull for her. Albedo can't slot in my Zibai team since he needs another Hexerei character there (and my Mona and her attack buff build is not that good in this comp), so Chiori is perfect as a flex spot. So I have more justification to pull for her now, lol.

7. Xianyun

I want to play Gaming and Diluc plunge. That's all. 

On serious note, I always like healer character and every healer always has value since Furina exists. And I always love variety in playing and Xianyun provides the plunging playstyle for every character, so it's enough of a reason for me. But she is not very high in this list since there are characters that I want more than her. But of course if I have the primo, I will get her. 

8. Mavuika, Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, Ayato, Venti

All these characters are the characters that I won't go out of my way to get them, but I wouldn't mind having them. 

About Mavuika. It's kinda funny that I have every single Natlan characters (except Varesa, but she is high in the wishlist ranking), but I don't have their archon that works really well with them, lol. I did want to pull for her before, but she first released with Citlali, and Citlali was my most anticipated Natlan character before, so I prioritized the grandma. 

Then, Mavuika had rerun with Emilie and I know I'm the the only sane person who thought to pull Emilie over Mavuika. But in my defense, I want my Kinich to have his dedicated sub dps and I love Emilie's flower aesthetic. And now, the more time passed, the less interested I am with Mavuika, so here she is, pretty low in the list;)

About Raiden. I like her design and burst animation, but there's always something holding me back from pulling her. And she is not that good anymore as a DPS and I don't want to use hyperbloom Raiden, so I don't know what should I do with her if I even got her. But with lunar charged, I think she can be viable again:D

About Yae Miko. I like her as an Electro sub dps. But there's always other character that I prioritized more, so I never be able to pull for her. 

About Ayato. His JP voice actor. Ishida Akira is not my favorite seiyuu, but I love his voice, so...:D

About Venti. Hexerei buff and main DPS Venti. Do I need to say more?

For the weapon wishlist, I actually just have one. I'm not a big weapon banner girl since I like to have more characters. But I don't mind to get some if I got lucky. But the only weapon that I'm kinda eyeing on right now is Azurelight, the Skirk weapon. It's very beautiful and it matches her aesthetic. But most importantly, it frees me from the Sanhaj ceremonial sword (forgot the name) that requires me to bring shielder all the time. For other weapon, I don't have anything specific in mind, but I don't mind Polar Star or Verdict. 

For constellation, this is more like a delusional wishlist since I don't see myself pulling for constellation, but it's fun to write it down, so why not? I would love to have Neuvilette C1 since he finally wouldn't get knocked out every single time I use him without shielder. And Yelan C1 since I'm kinda struggling with her energy recharge in solo hydro, especially since I'm running Aqua Simulacra on her. 

That's all for my 2026 Genshin wishlist. I didn't expect to get everything, but what's wrong in fantasizing a little bit? Being a human means having greed, after all.
